BEWARE

Once you spend a week listening to daily affirmations, you’ll find out whether you are an empathetic or sympathetic individual. Empathy, by definition, is the ability to understand and share feelings with another person. Being sympathetic simply means you are capable of showing concern for others and what they are going through. Being an empathetic person comes with different levels. You can simply be in the moment with that person and really feel for them, or you can be a very sensitive empath, where your concern carries on past the conversation. It’s almost as if you are personally dealing with that situation and can’t shake the feeling that comes with that. Although you may be coming from a good place with this approach, it is not healthy. To be a shallow empath is my main goal, and what I mean by that is to be in that moment with that person, but let it go when the conversation is over. Beware, as you follow along with affirmations, you will become more aware of your reaction to others. You may realize how negative some interactions really are with certain people. How does it make you feel? Do you feel stressed and extremely empathetic, or do you feel very light about the topic? This is important to know, because if you are surprised that your not feeling stressed, then the affirmations are really working on your subconscious. If you are feeling stressed internally, then perhaps a reevaluation is needed, such as, new affirmation content or possibly the people you are around are not good for you.
You may or may not lose some relationships along the way. Trusting your inner self and the process may be hard, but with time, everything will fall into place. The universe is abundant and so are you. Finding yourself is not easy nor is it an immediate realization. Take your time so you know your growth is genuine.
